Marelna Gultig — Community Councillor for Heather Park & Blanco
Marelna Gultig is a true example of what it means to serve your community with heart, commitment, and action. She is not the type to stand on the sidelines — Marelna gets her hands dirty, quite literally, whether it’s picking up a paintbrush, helping with a clean-up, or visiting sites to see where she can make a real difference.

Things we do
Heritage day 2025 theme: Heros, we reached out to our local creche Born to win where we talked about our local Heros: lawe enforcement, the Police, medical workers, teacher and fire fighters.

After upgrading the park equipment in Willow rd, one of the handles came loose on the “wipplank”. Community members jumped in to fix it. I want to personally thank those involved for a united approach to keeping our park safe for everyone to enjoy.

As we enter October, I want to thank each of you for your continued involvement in making our ward a vibrant and safe community. This is our very first edition newsletter as a ward committee.
