BELLVILLE (Western Cape)
“Urban energy meets Cape calm”
Something unique about our little town…
Bellville has a different rhythm — a blend of city life and everyday comfort.
Situated in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, Bellville is where business, education, and community come together. It’s busy, but not overwhelming. Modern, yet still grounded.
Mornings start with traffic and coffee, while afternoons open into mountain views and relaxed neighbourhood living.
It’s not loud like a city centre… but it’s never quiet either.
It’s balanced.
A bit of history
Bellville began as a small railway village known as “12 Mile Post” in the 19th century, marking its distance from Cape Town.
It later grew into a key transport and commercial hub and was renamed after Charles Bell, a surveyor-general of the Cape.
Today, it’s one of the most important economic centres in the Western Cape — connecting people, business, and opportunity.
